Comparing Construction Progress Imagery
Progress comparison answers one question well: what changed since the last flight. Everything else is a bonus.
Overview
- Fly the same route, altitude and orientation each period, or the comparison measures the flight rather than the site.
- Align each epoch to a fixed site grid so that a change is reported at a coordinate, not "in the north-east area".
- Separate built progress from stockpile movement and from vegetation — they change on different timescales.
- Deliver to the site team in the format they already use: plan sheet, model viewer, or image tiles.
