Packing and Shipment Inspection
The last inspection is the one the customer sees, and it is the one where a missing accessory becomes an expensive conversation.
Overview
- Pack against the delivery list, item by item, including documentation, tools, connectors and spares.
- Verify the serial numbers on the packing list match the units in the case.
- Protect what is fragile and what is sensitive to moisture; the shipping environment is not the operating environment.
- Photograph the packed configuration so that a transport dispute can be resolved from evidence.
