Work Order and Alerting System Integration
Alerts only work if the person who receives one can act on it. Everything else about the integration is secondary.
Overview
- Define the trigger conditions, the recipient and the required response for each alert class.
- Suppress duplicates and known conditions; an alert that fires routinely will be ignored when it matters.
- Carry enough context in the alert itself — location, imagery, time — to act without opening another system.
- Track whether alerts were acted on, and tune the thresholds against that.
