Data is only an asset if it can be reused. Most of the engineering effort goes into the metadata, not the sensor.
Overview
- Capture standards define naming, structure, metadata fields and units, and are enforced in the capture tool.
- Every observation carries its conditions: time, position, weather, sensor settings and operator.
- Edge processing handles the part that has to be decided on site; the rest is transferred for review.
- Retention, access and deletion are defined per record type, and applied automatically.
