G-100 Ground Inspection Robot
A ground inspection robot with an all-up mass of up to 80 kg and IP54 protection (IP65 available on request), for inspection of confined spaces and areas that are difficult for people to reach.

Positioning
Not every inspection suits an aircraft. Cable galleries, tunnels, switch rooms, mezzanines and the space under equipment have heavy overhead obstruction, disturbed airflow, and consequences that are not acceptable if control is lost. G-100 carries sensors into those places on a wheeled chassis instead of looking from above.
Its job is to replace a person entering the space: nobody has to go in, but the imagery and readings needed for a judgement still come back.
Key specifications
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| All-up mass | Up to 80 kg |
| Protection rating | IP54 (IP65 available on request) |
| Locomotion | Ground mobile |
| Typical use | Inspection of confined spaces and areas difficult for people to reach |
| Data output | Imagery and capture records, filed against asset identifiers |
An IP65 build involves changes to sealing and thermal design and is assessed per project. If your site has flammable gas or explosive dust, that is a certification question and should be raised at the start of the project.
Working alongside flight platforms
G-100 and our flight platforms are complementary rather than alternatives:
- Aircraft cover above and outside — roofs, facades, towers, bridge soffits
- G-100 covers inside and below — cable galleries, tunnels, switch rooms, mezzanines, under-equipment space
- Imagery from both can be filed against the same asset numbering, forming one record
Projects that need both sides are usually run as two workstreams rather than one compromised machine.
What to confirm before ordering
- Site access conditions: gradients, steps, thresholds, minimum passage width
- Sensors and lighting required, and whether capture must continue while moving
- Whether remote or autonomous operation is needed
- Whether flammable gas or explosive dust is present — this is a certification question
- Data output format and how records are filed
Frequently asked questions
Can the G-100 be configured for a specific mission?
Yes. The G-100 is configured to the mission rather than sold as a fixed package: payload combination, data link, power and mechanical interfaces are settled before the order, and acceptance criteria are agreed before work starts.
Under what conditions were the specifications measured?
The table gives typical-condition values. Actual figures depend on payload, wind and dispatch pattern; per-item conditions are confirmed with the project.
How are price and lead time given?
There is no published price list. Pricing follows configuration and quantity; production is scheduled against orders, and lead time is confirmed with the order.
